so ... that Yapısı

so + adjective(sıfat) / Adverbs(zarf) + that yapısı şeklinde kullanılır ve that'den sonra tam cümle gelmesi gerekmektedir.

Örnek;

Those kids were so naughty that their mother couldn't stop them.

Çocuklar o kadar yaramazdılar ki(so that) anneleri onları durduramıyordu. that sonrası tam cümle geldiği  ve so .... that arası sıfat(naughty) geldiği görülmektedir.

Anlamı:Mary öyle güzel ki her erkek ondan hoşlanır.

I am so tired that I cannot explain now.
Anlamı: Öyle yorgunum ki şu an açıklayamayacağım.

such ... that Yapısı

such + adjective(sıfat) + noun(isim) + that yapısı şeklindedir. such ... that için illaki isim yapısı gelmesi gerekmektedir.


It was such good food that I wanted to have another plate. (burada sıfat(good) + isim(food) gelmiştir.)

O kadar güzel bir yemekti ki bir tabak daha istedim.
